The skirt could be a wee bit better but the price was very good and it heats well and fast so full recommendation.

Like the blanket. However, two controls suggest that there are two people sharing? Perhaps one control for the whole bed area.

Only started using a few days ago. This one replaced an old one which was faulty and only heated one side of the bed. This item was super easy to fit, no ties to struggle with. Even on the lowest setting the bed was toasty warm to get into. A happy customer

Fits nicely on double bed and the controls sufficiently high that they sit neatly beneath the pillow so you don't feel any hard plastic whilst sleeping. Blanket heats up quickly.

No, this comes with 3 heat settings and no timer. We have the Prestige version this comes with a timer function

I'd love to buy a fully fitted heated blanket for my double bed but dont want/need 2 controls, can one be turned off and the over controls the whole bed? My bed is against a wall, it'll be too hard/costly to control both.

The Homefront is only available with dual controllers. Each controller will control one-half of the bed.

Yes, you attach the electric blanket to your mattress with the deep elastic skirt, and a sheet is placed over the top.

The Homefront range in double comes as dual control.

We just taken delivery of a double electric blanket - Homefront Fully Fitted Double Size Electric Blanket £42.98 and we can't work out how to remove the controllers. There are no instructions for that - it just says "unplug" for washing but they don't pull off

There is a plastic flap on the male and female connection into the blanket. Lift the flap up with your nail and ease the connection outside to side. They can be a bit tight so you may need a little force to pull the connection out.

Does this fit over the sides of the mattress as well

Yes, the deep elastic skirt fits over the sides of your mattress.
