Purchased the superking dual controller heated blanket. It’s my second one after one of the controllers became faulty on the old one, and as it was a previous model I couldn’t get a replacement controller so bought this instead. It’s definitely the best on the market with dual controls and both upper and lower body heating options. Would highly recommend! Speedy delivery too! Great company.

Brilliant product. In order to save money this year, we turned our heating off for most of the day only putting it on for an hour first thing in the morning and then evening. Yes, we used hot water bottles and they kept just a small area of the bed warm. I was adamant that the hot water bottle was good enough. But then it got colder, so my hubby suggested we get an electric blanket. Boy, what a good idea. We have separate controls, it fits the full size of a super king bed which is amazing. Would highly recommend it.

Excellent value. Doesn't warm up as quick as my last one but it doesn't take too long. I like the way the controls dim once set (looks as though they're off) so no disturbing lights once in bed. Seperate body and feet controls are really a bonus.

I have had one of these blankets for about 8 years. The controls on one side are now a bit intermittent but I have liked the blanket so much I have ordered a replacement. The blanket has deep mesh sides which fit the bed nicely and I love the duel controls and the independent feet and body options. I would strongly recommend this product.

No, You would need to slide to ON position and then select your preferred heat setting for your feet and body. The timer function can also be used.

How much does the premium electric blanket cost to run for the night

This uses 140w of power for both sides of the bed and approximately will cost about 2p to run all night. Please check with your utility provider how much they charge you per kilowatt hour for an exact costing.

No, we do not recommend the use of electric blankets with a memory foam topper . You can always check with the manufacturer of the topper to see if they are compatible.

No, this is not suitable to be switched on and off with a smart plug.

How long does it take for this to heat up please?

It would be dependent on your room temperature but it usually heats up between 10 to 20 minutes.

We've had one of these (old model) blankets for many years, and found the ability to use a smart plug to switch it on half an hour before we went to bed very useful. Is the answer above that says that a smart plug cannot be used because the 'on' switch reverts to 'off' when power is removed?

The connection is about 50cm from the top of the bed about shoulder height after the pillow area.
